Located in Msida, our Academy is our hub for creativity and learning. It is here that our junior stylists are hosted for their weekly training sessions, as well as where we welcome participants who wish to improve their cutting skills, colouring skills or product knowledge through short training courses, all led by our stellar education team.
As a company, we believe very much in continuous education. This is crucial to us not only for skills refinement, but also to maintain and boost motivation and drive.
We want to create a team that can keep our clients wowed, but that also strives to be better every day. And ultimately, we want our team to love what they do, which is why we have regular opportunities for training for all stylists, so that they may get together, inspire each other, and add fuel to each other’s creative flames.
The staff in training are at different stages in their training journeys but all are monitored by one of our more senior team members who form part of our education team, so rest assured that you will leave the salon satisfied with the end result.
We are always on the lookout for models looking to get a colour or cut done. Colour services range from natural highlights to more avant garde colours, and we are open to creativity and strive to work with a variety of hair types.
If you are interested in being a hair model during one of our training sessions, send us a photo of what your hair currently looks like together with a photo of what you would like to have done. We will then pair you with a member of our team who will be in touch with you to set up a consultation. We look forward to seeing you at our Academy!

One of our veterans, Terri is the mother hen of our education team, overseeing the training of countless junior stylists and stylists and delighting as they leave her nest with refined skills and a surge of confidence, ready to take on the world.
With her extreme love for colour that is evident in her hairdressing equipment, attire and locks, Oana has all the qualities that make her a fantastic educator; patience, perseverance, encouragement, dedication and kindness.
Nicole's passion for education is powerful and the fruits of the labour that she has put into the education programme at Dean Gera are evident in the high standard of the in-house team as well as the workshops that the Academy hosts.
Dean continues to push towards raising the level of hairdressing in Malta. Holding great pride for the team behind the brand, he hosts several cutting and colouring workshops throughout the year that are open to all hairdressers.
